The win was announced at MercyCare’s Staff and Volunteer Day, where all of the company’s Excellence Award winners were announced throughout the event.
Executive Director Early Learning Services Rosie Smith said the Seville Grove team won the award for the way they have worked together as a team to provide the best education and care to children.
“Even through a very challenging year, they have continued to go above and beyond for families, providing person centred care.” Rosie said.
“The team cohesion is brilliant, and they cleverly use each other’s strengths to deliver the best outcomes for the children in their care.”
Beyond their own centre, the Seville Grove team members are always there to lend a hand to other centres when they need it. With staff putting their hands up to fill in at other MercyCare early learning centres on their days off.
Centre Manager Stacy Hasluck said, “we were beyond thrilled to be presented with the Service Excellence Award! It was particularly special to have Kylie and Laura, who have worked at Seville Grove for more than 10 years, there to accept it.”
MercyCare’s Excellence Awards are presented each year to staff who go above and beyond in their roles, live by the MercyCare values and contribute significantly to the community.
