Retirement Living

Live Life, Your Way

Community is at the heart of everything we do and it’s all about enabling you to live life your way. Life at Mercy Retirement Village is one that brings together the values of a caring community coupled with a comfortable independence.

Located in Wembley, Mercy Retirement Village is next door to MercyCare’s beautiful award-winning heritage precinct, a short walk from Lake Monger and a quick drive to Subiaco, Leederville, Floreat and the Perth CBD.
While the many benefits of city living are within your reach, you can also unwind and enjoy peace and quiet, with beautiful gardens, spacious villas and relaxing views from our prime hilltop location.

This duality is at the heart of everything we provide, from our active community centre to our library, outdoor activity areas and frequently visiting health practitioners.

With a retirement community that is warm, friendly and inviting, retirement living in Perth can be as social as you want it to be.

Retirement living at Mercy Village means you can join one of many interest groups from carpet bowls to Friday night drinks and nibbles. The Village is at the heart of Wembley and surrounding community, with relationships with local schools for intergenerational programs to volunteering opportunities at the neighbouring MercyCare Early Learning Centre and MercyCare Wembley Residential Aged Care Home. Life is as busy and social as you choose.

My wife Gwen and I chose Mercy Village because our daughter lives close by. The time had come to downsize from our large farm in Esperance so we moved into one of the village’s apartments with fantastic views overlooking the lake. As well as the great outlook, we like how secure it feels. We both settled in very quickly – there’s a great village atmosphere and everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

I moved to Mercy Village with my husband Peter in 2006 from neighbouring Wembley Downs. We did look at other villages, but felt they were all too far away from where we wanted to be. Peter’s not with me anymore, but I’m very settled at Mercy Village and I have a wonderful social life. It’s a friendly village and there’s always so much going on. You can choose to be as involved as you like. It’s a lovely place to live.
